During this session ACT MEA presents an opportunity for you to discover the impact of events on our planet. By attending, you'll learn how to improve your event by reducing waste (both financial & material). Whether you organise events for the public or private sector, stakeholders and clients are now demanding a Green Choice and the ability to offset the environmental footprint of their events.

Following on from a think tank involving a number of industry thought leaders, Jeremy Garling, Great Southern E-vents will present a guide on going green in events. Jeremy will provide you with advice on how to create and implement your own green policy. This topical session is not to be missed by those that are serious about making a difference and is suitable for all levels of membership.

Following the Professional Development session, your new local host committee will host the annual branch report & afternoon tea, where you'll be able to meet your new committee and enjoy delicious refreshments.

The National Convention Centre has just completed its $30 million refurbishment and the MEA ACT Branch Committee have arranged for all attendees to be given a first-hand, personalized tour of the new Centre - an access-all-areas tour. We'll show you areas that are not open to the public and that most organizers and delegates don't get the chance to see. A tour not to be missed!

Also note below that non-members can attend this event only at member rates! A perfect opportunity to bring along a friend to introduce to the MEA network.
